Our client is a highly successful consumer marketing organisation which is privately owned and is the market leader in its field. Transactional data gained from continuing UK operations has allowed the business to build a unique and multi-faceted database of significant volume, which until now, has remained intentionally under-utilised.
Two very recent joint ventures with leading blue chip organisations in financial services and mail order have afforded outstanding results, given the highly responsive, multi-faceted nature of the list.
Clearly there is likely to be a high degree of interest from prospective JV partners in future, and accordingly our client now seeks to appoint a Director of Data Services to command the sales and marketing effort in what is to be a new and growing division of the business.
You will be an accomplished business development professional with a proven track record in data/list-broking sales who is a self starter and operates in a consultative approach to new prospects. You will be accustomed to new account acquisition and revenue growth through the successful identification and delivery of beneficial data-led marketing initiatives.
Prerequisites to being considered for this role are experience of significant achievement in a Lifestage Marketing arena and a background in the use of data for DM and cross media applications. Exposure to financial services, charity and mail order sectors is essential.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this new role in a growing company provides an excellent opportunity with national/international scope for business development.
